BHIM Axis Pay UPI App Complaint
In the latest version of Axis Bank BHIM UPI App, the customers are not able to register. As on 11 April, 2019 latest version of BHIM Axis Pay UPI App is 2.4.58 which was updated on 19 March 2019. It requires Android 4.1 and above otherwise you can’t install it in your device. The Error Message “Please enable mobile data network to verify your mobile number and try again.” at the time of installing BHIM Axis Pay UPI App if you are using Wifi Network. The solution to this problem is available. Other issue after enabling Mobile Data is “Unable to verify your mobile number. Please retry.” So finally you were unable to install AXIS Bank UPI App.
Installation of Axis Pay UPI App
To install the BHIM Axis UPI App, following pre-requirement is mandatory.
- Your mobile number must be registered in the bank account. If not, then first you have to link mobile number in your bank account.
- Android version 4.1 and above.
- Active Internet connection (Only Data Network). After installation, you can use Wifi network. But for registration/ installation you have to enable data network.
Step 1: Download it from Google Play Store (Do not download it from any other website (.APK) as it may contain virus or malware).
Click on “Install” and follow the instruction. You have to give permission required i.e. SMS, Contact, Phone, Data Network, Wifi-Network etc.
Step 2: Choose your language (Hindi or English): More language support will be available soon. But at present only Hindi and English version of app is available.
Step 3: Read the instruction i.e and Click on Next.
Step 4: Verify your mobile number
In this step, BHIM Axis Pay UPI App will send SMS from your mobile number to verify. Please ensure that SMS is send from the mobile number registered with BANK Account. The SMS charges are applicable.
Step 5: Enable Data Connection.
After enabling the Data Network. The customer is getting error. “Unable to verify your mobile number. Please try again.
Solution: If your mobile number is in SIM Slot-1, then you have to enable SLOT-1 Data Network. If your mobile number registered with Bank Account is in SIM Slot-2, then you have to enable data network for SIM Slot-2. Then this problem will be solved.
BHIM Axis Bank Pay UPI App: Support/ Customer Care

- Please enable mobile data network to verify your mobile number and try again.
- Unable to verify your mobile number. Please retry.
- The failed transaction, the amount is debited but not credited in other accounts.

The solution of some of the common problem in UPI App
a) Axis Bank App loses its connection way too much (3G/ 4G internet) – Airtel/ BSNL/ JIO/ Vodafone.
Solution: If there is a connectivity issue with the Axis Bank mobile app exist then you must check your mobile data speed. You can download SPEEDTEST app and check the speed. Fast internet is necessary due to secuity reason and authentication.
b) Asking for mobile number registration frequently every two days (after updating Axis Bank UPI App).
Solution: You may have changed the SIM 1/ or SIM 2. Opening the SIM slots delete the security features or account associated to the mobile phone. So, to authenticate again you are asked to register mobile number.
c) Mobile number is not registered – So how to login with user ID and password?
Solution: Make sure that in Axis Bank your mobile number is associated/ added. You can register axis bank upi app only to the mobile having the mobile number in Axis Bank. If you want to change the mobile number, then you have to visit your home branch and ask for it. If there is option to update mobile number via ATM, then you must check the same.
d) Login problem. Forget MPIN, password of Axis Bank
Solution: If you lost your password, not remembering MPIN, don’t worry, there is way to reset MPIN. Click on “forget MPIN” and then you can set MPIN by using details of Netbanking “User Id and Password” or Debit card details ” Card number, expiry details, and ATM PIN.
e) Date of Birth (DOB) update section doesn’t allow you to change the month and date.
Solution: There may be internet speed slow, the list of months are shown drop down, you can select it. If problem still exist, email to the email@example.com.
f) After update App is slow.
Solution: Every new update, the developers of Axis Bank Mobile App link some extra features (security, accounts details, FD, RD). You must check internet speed. If your internet speed is good (Wifi/ data) then you can contact to the Customer Care on 1800 tollfree number.
g) Jio is not included in the Service list
Solution: Yes, there is change that some companies Recharge (Jio) is not listed. Incoming update Jio 4G recharges can be done on Axis Bank Mobile App.
h) I have ordered axis active band from my app and still not delivered worst service by axis bank.
Solution: Just call the customer care with your ORDER ID.
i) Not able to track my RD investment in investment column.
Solution: Update the Axis Bank App.
j) Mobile Number( 9 digit/ 11 digit) problem for Saudi counties.
Answer: If you have registered mobile number of Saudi countries then App doesn’t accept 9 digit mobile number. Please contact to the customer care. In new update this feature shall be added or email at firstname.lastname@example.org and www.axisbank.com/support.
