Bank of India (BOI) is a commercial bank established in 1906. It has total 5200+ branches as on 31 January 2019 it has also 60+ Bank Office outside India. BOI is in the list of 5 top Banks in India. The headquarters of BOI is in Mumbai. Mr. Dinabandhu Mohapatra is currently holding MD & CEO post of BOI.  The Bank of India given services i.e. Saving, Salary, Current, Term, Tax Saving accounts. The Loans: BOI Star Home Loan, Star Smart Home Loan, Pravasi Home Loan, Star Diamond Home Loan, Star Loan Against Property, Star Education Loan, Star Vidya Loan, Vehicle, Personal, Pension Loan are some of the Loan Available at Bank of India (BOI).

National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) started a UPI Pilot Project in September 2016 with 21 Banks for the Unified Payment Interface System. After 3 months of statistics, NITIAyog, Govt. of India asked NPCI to scale UPI to make India Digital Enocony Stronger. With the UPI Application on Mobile, the customers are able to send or collect money request 24×7 without Bank Intervention.

BOI was also part of UPI Pilot Project. You can download official UPI App of Bank of India “BHIM BOI UPI” from Google Play Store. The BOI UPI iPhone App is also available on Apple iTunes Stores (for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch). For the Windows Smartphone, BOI UPI App is not available. Maybe in future Bank of India may issue App for Windows 10, Windows Phone, etc.

BOI BHIM UPI App Features

The Bank of India UPI App is available for Android and iOS devices smartphones or tablets. The BHIM BOI UPI App supports NPCI UPI Protocol. The customer not having BOI Saving or Current accounts can also download and install/ use it. You just have to verify your mobile number. Note: Your mobile must be registered in any bank of Reserve Bank of India (which support UPI). Verification of mobile number is mandatory for UPI Registration.

Install/ Download BHIM BOI UPI App

Using BHIM BOI UPI App is very easy. You just have to check the minimum eligibility required.

  1. Mobile Number: Your mobile number should be registered in any bank.
  2. Smartphone OS: Your Phone should have Android 4.1 and up and for iOS Requires iOS 10.0 or later.
  3. Active Internet: To use the BHIM BOI UPI App, you should have active internet for the transaction.

To download BHIM Bank of India UPI App, follow the steps:

Step 1: Download the BHIM BOI UPI app from Google Play Store or Apple iTunes.
Step 2: Click on Install and Given permissions i.e. SMS, Contact, Location, Media, Camera etc.
Step 3: Verify the mobile number. This step is mandatory for UPI registration. For Dual SIM (SIM 1 and SIM 2 Slots) Choose mobile number slot that is registered with any bank.
Step 4: Select your preferred bank account. Create a unique ID (for example – yourname@boi)
Step 5: Verify your account & set a UPI PIN

The latest version uploaded on 22 February 2019. The BHIM BOI UPI App has an average rating of 3.7 points out of 5 points by 3,516 customers. This is not a good rating for Financial App. Below are the major issue, complaints by customer.
