Passenger facing issue while travelling in Train can directly register online complaint with the Ministry of Railways, IRCTC or Indian Railway helpdesk.

Following are the major issues:

  1. IRCTC App – Payment transaction error, technical error, not loading, tatkal ticket payment, PayTM, PhonePE UPI Payment issue, Refund, Cancellation of ticket issue.
  2. Travelling in Rail: Lost item/ bag/ laptop/ documents/ enquiry and register FIR, train not stopped at station.
  3. Chain Pulling complaint
  4. Complaint about the passenger with Coach Number (Seat Number and PNR)
  5. Complaint about thief- stealing items
  6. Complaint against the Tea/ Coffee/ Biscuit, Water vendor.
  7. Lunch/ Dinner or Breakfast pricing is very high and not upto mark
  8. Ticket Cancel at station window, charging more money.
  9. Ticket not confirmed, money taken by TTE
  10. Toilet are not clean
  11. The Seats are not clean complain to station master.

IRCTC Customer Complaint

Ministry of Railways is divided into 17 Zones. So, the complaints can be sent to the Zonal Railways Officers Customer Service. The Passenger travelling in train or has booked ticket but not able to board train.

a) Train is running late and you missed exam, admission in college, school etc.
b) Train cancelled and you didn’t attend admission Counselling (College/ University/ Job Interview etc.)
c) Train has started before time and not able to board train.
d) Without Ticket (due to very less time), how to get general ticket in train
e) Lost bag/suitcase in train
