Punjab National Bank (PNB) is ready with the new APP (PNB ONE App) available for iOS and Android smartphones. The old PNB App (NEFT/ UPI or Fund Transfer features) support will be discontinued by 7 March 2019. In the message by PNB App, that  PNB Customer has to download an upgraded version of mobile banking “PNB One App” from Google Play Store or Apple store.

Similar to the SBI YONO App, the Punjab National Bank is giving lots of new features in PNB ONE App i.e. Banking, Accounts, Transfer Funds, Invest funds, Loans Accounts, Credit Card, Debit Card Management, UPI Payments, Scan & Pay (BHARAT QR), M-Passbook, Pay Bills/Recharge, Cheques and various other features (Shopping, Coupons) and also Complaint Service Management is available.

PNB ONE Installation & Registration

Punjab National Bank PNB ONE is the latest upgraded mobile banking App by PNB. The existing and new customer of Punjab National Bank has to download and install this app because old App will be discontinued from 7 March 2019 (2359 hrs) and from 8 March 2019 only PNB ONE will function.

PNB ONE App is available now!! only for Andriod and iOS mobiles. For the Windows Phone, PNB ONE App will be available soon. (To download PNB ONE Windows PC/ Mobile App, kindly check the Microsoft Windows App store) As on 5 March 2019, PNB ONE APP for Windows Mobile is not developed.

Punjab National Bank PNB ONE App: Download, Installation, Registration

Before download and installation PNB ONE App, following details (pre-requisites) for Punjab National Bank PNB ONE APP.

a) An active account with Punjab National Bank (Only Retail Banking)
b) Your Mobile number must be registered with the PNB Bank.
c) Smartphone with Android version 5.1.0 and iOS version of 9 & above.

Qualifying the above criteria, then you can go ahead to download and install the PNB ONE APP.

STEP 1: Go to the Google Play Store or iOS Store and Search for “PNB ONE” App in the search box available. After that hit on the search button. You will get the search results. In that, click on the PNB ONE and Click on Install Button.

STEP 2: Click on the  INSTALL BUTTON and Follow the instruction.

STEP 3: Click on “OPEN” button after installing PNB ONE App. Allow permission (Use Mobile Network, All PNB ONE to access your contacts, Also allow PNB ONE to take a picture and record videos, All PNB ONE to access this device location (GPS)).

In the first screen, you have the option to choose a language (HINDI and ENGLISH), Read FAQ, Security Tips, More Button (Locate Us, Application info, Contact Us, Invite & Refer, Offers, Security Advisory, Direct Income Taxes etc,). You can go through option as per your choice. We recommend you to read the security features and advisory carefully before using the PNB ONE App.

The Language option (Bengali, Marathi Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamme, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil) etc. will be soon available in the upcoming up-gradation of App.

STEP 4:  Now, you will see two options (a) SIGN IN or (b) New User.

  • New User: Only for the customer who are new to PNB Mobile Banking App and has never created a mobile banking account.
  • Sign In: If you have mobile banking account (created USER ID) – Using the old PNB App. Then you have to choose SIGN IN option.
  • Trouble Sign In: If you have lost USER ID or PASSWORD (MPIN), then click on Trouble Sign IN option.

I have already mobile banking account with the Punjab National Bank, So I will choose SIGN IN option and enter my USER ID to login in PNB ONE App.


Following are the security tips to use the PNB ONE App or any other Mobile Banking App.

  1. Do not share PIN/OTP/CW/Password/card Number/Account Details/expiry date
  2. Do not share any OTP
  3. Always keep your Mobile and Apps updated with latest version.
  4. Do not click or open link came through SMS.
  5. Do not install app from an untrusted source
  6. Please do not download unnecessary App on the basis of someone’s suggestion through a phone call or SMS or message over social media and any code or other credentials should be shared with anybody

What’s New in PNB ONE App

In the newer version of PNB ONE App. Following development/ features are added.

(a) You can login using either of the options- Biometric or MPIN.
(b) Simplified Dashboard to manage key banking activities.
(c) In-app registration for PNB ONE. No need to visit branch or browse any other website for registration of PNB ONE. download the app from play store and register yourself
(d) Invest in FD account through PNB ONE
(e) View & Download your statement of account through PNB ONE.
(f) You can manage your Debit /Credit Card using PNB ONE. Limit your usage of Debit Card by setting limit. Access your PNB credit card statement and pay your credit card bills via PNB ONE.

STEP 5: After entering the USER ID, you will get MPIN (mobile banking activation OTP) in your registered mobile number. The OTP is valid for 5 minutes.

After entering the valid OTP within 5 minutes, you have to set new MPIN, Also If you have a Referral Code (it is optional).

STEP 6: Set Touch (Finger Touch ID) Login to PNB ONE App

After login in PNB ONE App using the new MPIN, the first message is to set touch login feature (fingerprint to login). Do you want to register for touch ID? Your preference can be updated in the future by using Enable Biometrics option in My Profile.

The PNB ONE APP is successfully installed in your mobile phone. You have also registered fingerprint touch ID login feature. Now, you can go ahead and check all the features. ie. Saving, Current, Deposit, Overdraft accounts, transfer, UPI, Scan & Pay, MPassbook, Pay Bill, Recharges, Services, Debit, Credit Card etc.

PNB ONE App Complaints, Support: Customer Care

The Punjab National Bank (PNB ONE) is the new app launched in February 2019, As the version of this app is 1.10, there may be an issue with the speed, bug, security issue, transaction error, account blocked, shows error your session has been expired, MPIN reset SMS not receiving, touch ID problem etc.

PNB ONE APP – All Features

Punjab National Bank PNB ONE App is a Mobile Banking App with Financial/ Non-Financial features. Following features are available in the PNB ONE.

Fund Transfer

PNB ONE App can be used for the fund transfer (IMPS/ UPI/ RTGS/ NEFT or Scan QR Code)

a) Regular Transfers: You can perform self, with in bank, IMPS using account and NEFT transaction by using this option.
b) Adhoc Transfers: You can perform IMPS using MMOD and Quick transfer to PNB account by using this option.
c) Indo-Nepal Remittance: You can perform Indo-Nepal using account ID and Indo-Nepal using Identity transfers by using this option.

In the Unified Payment Interface (UPI), the PNB ONE APP has following features.

Complaints/ Problems in PNB ONE App Helpline

  1. Mobile/ DTH recharge issue. (Not able to recharge and error message is showing message show currently facing the problem).
  2. App is very slow, not able to login using the Fingerprint.
  3. Session is timeout, Login again and again even the internet speed is good.
  4. After updating every time server issues.
  5. Finger print authentication is not working in PNB ONE App after updating it. Stops working whenever I click on login via it, the app crashes down tried to uninstall n reinstall the app still the problem remains
  6.  You do not have any account issue in PNB ONE Mobile App.
  7. After the update unable to login to the app… Saying you have been logged out.
  8. IMPS and NEFT problem after updating the app.
  9. We are facing issues in servicing your request currently.
  10. Facing some technical issues
  11. Internet connectivity issue.
  12. OPT is not recieved, no place to enter OTP.
