The Punjab National Bank (PNB) is very popular public sector bank in India. There are around 5-6 crore bank accounts (Saving or Current) in PNB Bank. After State bank of India, Punjab National Bank has more number of customers. The PNB has also provided mobile banking apps ie. PNB mBanking, PNB UPI App, PNB MobiEase (SMS Banking, USSD Banking or Missed Call Banking). In this article, we are providing a complete process for filing complaint regarding error/ problem in PNB UPI as well as in PNB mBanking Android App/ IOS/ Windows app. Some customers is facing problem related to log in, user id, password, MPIN setting, lots mobile phone, SIM mobile number verification in UPI APP (amount deducted 1.5 rs every time, Rs 2 balance deducted for SMS verification).
PhonePe & PNB UPI Network
Do you have an account in Punjab National Bank? The PhonePe has removed PNB from UPI Network due to transaction error from PNB UPI. The customer may find this move harsh but it was required. In last 4-7 days, approx 40% of PNB UPI Transaction were failed or declined. PhonePe is no longer support PNB on UPI Network. But you can use the account payment option. The account balance feature is also not working for PNB UPI.

If your amount is deducted but Credit or Payment is not successful. You can raise a ticket on PHONEPE. Go to transaction and click on “NEET HELP”. Then you will get the Ticket. In 2-3 hours, your money will be refunded back to bank account.

a) Ask for Mobile number verification every time I open the PNB UPI App. Please help.
Solution: Your mobile number must be linked to the Punjab National Bank. To use the App, first step is the authentication, so your mobile number must be in SIM 1 or SIM 2 for auto SMS code deduction. Choose SIM 1, if your mobile number of SIM 1 is linked to PNB, otherwise you can choose SIM2. After the verification, you shall not be asked for the verification again. NOTE: If you remove the SIM slots, then again Verification of mobile number can be asked. This is the security feature.
b) Transferred money using PNB UPI app/ PNB mBanking but my money still not credited to beneficiary account and not reversed to me it’s been 7 days ago.
Solution: If your money is not transferred to the beneficiary account holder, then you can raise a complaint by calling on the Toll-Free number. Your money shall be credited back to your account in next 7 working days.
c) “We are facing technical difficulties Please try again after some time” (PNB App)
Solution. You can report the same error to email id [email protected] or update PNB UPI App from the Google Android Play Store. Check your internet connection too. Sometimes there is a connectivity issue.
d) “Your number doesn’t match with the details on the app, send a message to confirm”. Solve this PNB UPI App problem.
Solution: Use your mobile number SIM link to the account in SIM Slot 1 if your phone has old version of Android OS.
e) no facilities to transfer money to other bank account using IMPS or NEFT.
Solution. Check your limitation (View only) customer can’t see all the features ie transfers, add beneficiary etc.
f) Unable to create UPI pin.
Solution: If you are PNB UPI app and not able to create UPI PIN. Update the app, your problem shall be solved.
