State Bank of India is the largest PDA (Pension Disbursing Agencies) for the Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pensions), Allahabad. SBI is one of the Bank that open Pension Accounts of Defence (Family, OR/ JCO/ Officers – Army, Navy, and Airforce). PCDA Allahabad (Pension Dept) is happy to help you in case you have issue with your Pension. In this article, I am providing SBI Bank Pension Accounts customer care number, support and online complaint registration process.
The State Bank of India process Pensions of Central, State Govt. through Centralized Pension Processing Cell (CPPC) of SBI. The Pension Account is added to customer Saving or Current Accounts. So, you don’t need to open a new account for receiving Pension. Sometimes, the Pensioner may find that his/ her pension amount is less than the Pension Slip or OROP/ 6th and 7th Pay Commission Revised Pension issue. You can also calculate pension using the “SUVIGYA” Pension Enquiry System.

SBI Pension Account Complaint/ Helpline
The State Bank of India “Customer Complaint Form” is available at https://cms.onlinesbi.com/CMS/ website. This is a Grievance Redressal Mechanism of SBI. To complaint for your Pension Account, you need to follow the steps given below:-
Step 1: Vist https://cms.onlinesbi.com/CMS/ Portal
Step 2: Enter the details (Customer Type, Account Number, Name Of Complainant etc.).
Step 3: In Category Of Complaints you need to Select “Govt Schemes”
Step 4: Now, you will get following: New Pension Scheme, Other Government Business, PPF Accounts, Pension Accounts and Senior Citizens Scheme. In these, you have to select “Pension Accounts”
Step5: Select your issue with Pension from below list
- Basic & DA related
- Commutations
- Delay in crediting pension accounts
- Delay in payment of dearness allowances/other allowances
- Delay in the transfer of pension accounts
- Disability pension not paid
- Form 16A not provided
- Life Certificate related
- Non-Payment of arrears
- Non-payment of revised Pension/Arrears
- Others
- Pension & arrears statements
- Recovery of excess pension
In the box below, you must provide brief details about your complaint.
After submitting the Complaint Form, you will get the Ticket Reference Number on Mobile vis SMS and Email.
Your request will be forwarded to the concerned department for necessary action. You will have a response from them shortly. On successful registration of the complaint, You will receive a ticket number through SMS/Email. To know the status of your request call 1800112211 or 18004
Pension Account Customer Care
The Pensioner will get help and the redressal of his/ her grievances is available (via Online CPGRAM, Dept of Pension and Pensioner Welfare, PCDA Pension Allahabad and even the SBI help the Pensioner in clarification regarding their pension payment.
A pensioner can initially approach the Branch Manager of pension paying Branch and, thereafter, the Head Office of the concerned Bank for redressal of his/her complaint. They can also approach the Banking Ombudsman of the concerned State in terms of Banking Ombudsman Scheme 2006 of the Reserve Bank of India (details available at the Bank’s website www.rbi.org.in) This is applicable only in respect of complaints relating to services rendered by Banks. For other issues the complainant will have to approach the respective pension paying authority.
SMS Pensioner has to visit Pension Paying Branch (Home Branch) with request to upload his/her Mobile number in the Pension Application Software. Pensioner can get the details of monthly pension such as Basic Pension, D.A., Medical Allowance, Other Allowances, Commutation, Income Tax, Net Pension credited and the date of credit along with amount of commutation and gratuity paid through SMS from State Bank of India on regular basis.
